If you want a tuna salad with a twist, try my latest addiction.  I just keep finding so many new ways to use this spice blend.  It’s REALLY good in tuna salad!  This recipe is suitable for all phases of Atkins and Keto diets.  Primal-Paleo folks can enjoy it, too.

6.5 oz. pouch or can of drained tuna (I use oil pack)

¼ c. my homemade mayo

½ c. celery, chopped fine

¼-½ tsp. my Chicken Shawarma Spice

Dash each cayenne pepper and onion powder

Sprinkle of paprika (or more cayenne) on top to garnish

DIRECTIONS: Mix the spices into the mayo and stir well.  Add the chopped celery and tuna and blend.  Makes enough for 3 nice servings (or sandwiches on a slice of my low-carb bread, sliced laterally:

25 g  fat

.94 g carbs, .25 g fiber, .69 NET CARBS

      So glad you liked the spice blend. I just love this blend in so many things. I was surprised how good it was with tuna. Because of this, I’m going to try some of it blended into my homemade mayo spread atop broiled tilapia or swai filets or perhaps even broiled shrimp next. 🙂 I think that would be a good flavor experience as well.
